The Digital Era

I am writing about the Digital Era today, as the digital era has been here for what feels like a lifetime, everyone is using something that is digital like a phone, desktop or laptop computer, hand held display, TV, cars, everything is digital. However, there was a time when digital did not exist, Analog was “King”.
Artificial Intelligence or rather “Machine Learning” is the next phase of technology progress, or is it?

Back in the 1960’s, when scentists were starting to develop transitors and even integrated curcuits, we had analogue radios, Television, not much else, but the Americans still managed to put men on the moon, incredible times, but for mere mortals work was 9 to 5 and for most people likely labour intensive on a farm or in coal mine, factory, etc.

So what’s different from those early years and now?

Time has become a commodity, populations have surged, everyone is on-line everywhere, there is no escaping the digital age, unless we realise that we can actually take some down time, switch a calendar to busy or just switch off you phone for 30 minutes at lunch, go rogue!!!
